Led the Design team at Tradesy. Focused on making a bigger impact via the efforts of the entire Design team. Provided an environment in which the team could give honest feedback and produce their best work.
User Experience Designer at Tradesy
Santa Monica, California | 2015 - 2016
I worked on building scalable design systems. I'm a process junkie, so I was able to help guide the creation of our internal Design Process. I also worked on large projects including leading the redesign of our Self Service and Checkout Flows that made clear impacts and achieved their design goals.
Senior Design Manager at American Express
New York, NY | 2013 - 2014
I managed the workflow of our internal design team + agencies we were engaged with. I fell in love with Design in this role. I worked with amazing designers, both on our internal team and from the amazing agencies including Moment, Frog, Blue State Dig ital. I led and managed people who made things, without having ever been a maker myself. I decided to enroll in a coding bootcamp.
Product Manager at American Express
New York, NY | 2011 - 2013
American Express had launched a new division called Enterprise Growth, tasked with creating products and services targeted at people traditionally outside of Amex's core base. EG was in a different office in SoHo and they got to wear jeans to work. I worked on a number of different initiatives, including leading our EG Labs team and launching features that supplemented our core product, Serve. I also learned how products get made - from writing user stories, creating business cases and managing the feedback from a multitude of different stakeholders.
Senior Analyst at American Express
New York, NY | 2010 - 2011
I learned how to wake up every morning, dress in business casual (never again) and take the subway from Brooklyn to the Financial District in Manhattan (often while very hungover).
